During my first pregnancy I developed a lot of problems with my skin…
Alongside with my new skin issues, the potent nauseating smells from the fragrances in the products I used added to the new challenges I would endure throughout my first trimester of pregnancy. It was not till then, that I realized the importance of ingredients in all the products we use. With that being said, my rosacea was out of control and for having combination to oily skin (mostly oily in my t-zone) my skin was dry and flakey (particularly on my face). I also had this weird rash or redness under my chin near the dimples of my smile. It was horrible! Let me tell you… Pregnancy hormones do weird things, but I saw it in a positive way, that maybe the products I am using have harsh chemicals/ingredients that I shouldn’t be applying onto my body anyway. So, that is when I converted to using fragrance free and non-toxic products. A little less than a year after my postpartum with my first born I came across Infinitely-Natural at a Miami-Dade’s Harvest Festival. During that time my son broke out in horrible itchy rash/hives from a new laundry detergent I was using. Little did I know, the fragrance in the detergent was an irritant and it created this horrible reaction all over his body. After that happened, I did away with the detergent and started researching online for soaps and natural remedies to help soothe his irritated delicate skin. Then I saw that handcrafted goats milk soap had amazing benefits to the skin. Especially those with sensitive skin who suffered from psoriasis and eczema. Goats milk soap is a gentle cleanser rich in nutrients full of vitamins and minerals that helps relieve and soothe irritated skin. One tid-bit I loved about it since I live in Florida, where the suns rays are strong, is that it is high in Selenium. Selenium is known to prevent skin cancer, protect your skin from free radicals, and damaging ultraviolet rays from the sun. To make a long story short, when I came across Infinitely-Natural’s kiosk, I noticed they sold handcrafted bars of goats milk soap. With my new knowledge about goats milk and my son’s current condition I immediately purchased a couple of soap bars from them to try. In two days of using their soap my son’s skin cleared up instantly. Ever since then I’ve been in love with their products. I have tried other handcrafted goats milk bars, but Infinitely-Natural is definitely a favorite of mine. Now that I am pregnant again, they concocted an amazing Shea butter belly cream that I’m absolutely obsessed with. During my first pregnancy, my belly button was being stretched and it was painful. Since I’ve been applying Buddha Belly Blessing on my belly everyday during this pregnancy I haven’t had that issue at all. I am so happy Robin the owner of Infinitely-Natural has developed such a delicious skin quenching belly cream. It honestly makes my skin, my belly button, and baby bump happy every single time I apply it on. I highly recommend it for all of you Mama’s to be. I left a list of other favorite products by them below. Please give them a try, I promise you, you’ll love them just as much as I do. Till next time!
XOXO,
Rebeca
