I hope everyone is having a fabulous and save Fourth of July weekend. I wanted to create an affordable patriotic look for you guys. I came by Victoria Secret Pink and they are having and awesome deal, $15 for their Fourth of July graphic tees. As for Vans, I bought these patriotic Vans for $9. They were having a buy one get one for %50 off  sale at Dolphin mall. I am not sure if the sale is still going on, but I am sure they have a better promotion for the fourth. I also noticed that Converse had their patriotic shoes for $24.99, for those converse lovers (Guilty!). This concludes my look, go to Dolphin Mall for great deals/promotions if you live in Miami/ visiting and Happy Fourth Everybody! Ciao!

XOXO,

Rebeca

I am  thrilled to announce that it is finally sweater weather in the city of Miami! Who knows how long this cold front will last, but I have been pretty excited to wear a couple of my winter clothes that I have gathered throughout the years. If you have not noticed, I am not very fond of frigid cold weather or winter of the matter. In all honesty,  I am more of a spring/summer gal, majority of my wardrobe caters to a warmer tropical climate. With that being said, My winter collection is pretty limited (except for boots, I love my boots!). During the winter season I am quite particular about my clothing, but when I see a garment I like on display I buy it A.S.A.P.! You have to stock up for those occasional cooler days here in Miami! ;)Anyway, here in this look is a cozy cream-colored oversized sweater combined with a pair of gray mineral wash leggings that I paired with these sweet black leather Converse. To complete this look, I accented it with this leather boho necklace with a crescent moon charm. This completes my outfit, stay warm my friends!

XOXO,

Rebeca

Casual Caturday’s #5

I originally was going to wear a dress and heels for today’s Caturday look, but I was in the mood to wear something more on the comfortable side. In that case, I wore a Catwoman graphic-tee paired with cut-off shorts and ripped up fishnet tights worn underneath. Lastly, I completed this look with a pair of black-studded biker boots that I find quite comfortable to walk around in all day. This concludes my look and I promise I will make my upcoming Caturday look a bit more fancy. ūüėČ

The month of October is finally here and we are halfway into Halloween! If you cannot tell by the exclamation point in that sentence, Halloween is one of my all time favorite holidays. I love creating a costume and allowing my imagination to get out of control. ; )  In the meantime, I never got to post up a Casual Caturday this weekend, with that being said I did a gothic grunge look combined with my cat theme. I also decided to add a bit of fringe and bohemian accessories into the mix. I hope you guys like this combination!

XOXO,

Rebeca

Boho Vibing for Fall

Out of all the places I have been stationed to, Texas was the one state that won over my heart and soul allowing it to feel at home. Meanwhile,  I decided to incorporate a piece of Texas in this look. Firstly, for this look I kept it simple with a white over-sized v-neck tee and a pair of distressed burgundy mid-waist shorts. Lastly, I paired this look with my all time favorite black-studded Lucky brand cowgirl boots ( I have had these babies for a couple of years now). You can take the girl out of Texas, but you cannot take the cowgirl out of the girl. All in all, this concludes this boho look for fall and I would love to see all of you recreate this look from your own closet and tag me on instagram. ūüėČ  I hope you guys had an amazing weekend and a smooth start of the week! XOXOXO!

Casual Caturday’s #1

In my Roaring Leopard¬†post I mentioned having a Leopard Print Friday which has now become Casual Caturday’s.¬†I realized that strictly leopard print fashion may be too narrow, with that in mind I decided to make the theme a little bit more broad and stick with a cat/feline theme. From now on, every other Saturday I will be posting a look that is inspired by felines. I mention every other Saturday, because I do have other obligations, for instance school and homework. All in all, this was a cat inspired look that I gathered from my closet. I tried my best to find apparel similar towards this look and as always I will do so. Sometimes they are not always exact, but they may be comparable to what I wore. I hope you guys are ¬†having a safe and enjoyable weekend and I will meow at ya later! ūüėČ

La Juguera Tropical

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

One thing I love most about Miami is its predominant Cuban culture and of course its Cuban food. I am half Cuban, with that being said the passion and desire of latin flare runs through my veins. Miami is like no other place in the United States, it is miniature copy of Latin America fused with a variety of hispanic cultures. If I ever leave Miami, there are three things that I will miss greatly: 1)Their Cuban bakeries (UHHH Cuban Coffee and pastelitos!) 2) ¬†Cuban Restaurants 3) Freshly squeezed juice stands called “Jugueras”. Furthermore, This look was taken at one of my favorite Jugueras named La Juguera Tropical. I decided to wear a bright yellow bodysuit that is accented with a pink zipper to compliment the tropical, sunny Florida theme. In addition, I paired this look with these adorable high waist shorts and of course my comfy Vans. This concludes my look and If you ever come to Miami, visit La Juguera Tropical!

For this Lookbook my goal was to create a laid-back sporty style with a girly touch of achromatic colors paired with denim. These two looks were intended for back to school attire that is appropriate for high school students and college students. I think both looks are a perfect combination for a stressful/exciting first day of school, both outfits are comfortable, simple, and make a statement. All in all, I strongly believe that comfortable clothing always increases ones confidence level and from first hand experience, first days of school always get me a little bent out of shape. With that being said, wearing something relaxed always helps to set a calming mood for such a hectic and exciting day. I hope all of you have a splendid first day filled with fun and new friendships. ūüėČ XOXOXO!
