  • BODYSUIT: Forever 21 / SOLD OUT / Alternative
  • SHORTS: VS Pink / SOLD OUT / Alternative
  • SHOES: Vans
  • SUNNIES: Quay
  • SOCKS: VS Pink / ON SALE

Hello blogger friends! I recently came back from my European trip and I look forward to sharing it with all of you on here and on Instagram. So for this look, I wore this hot bodysuit in cobalt blue with the text “NO SHADE” written across the chest. I purchased this during Spring Break in hopes of shooting this look on my trip in Marco Island, but the weather was pretty grim so I had to improvise. I also, paired this bodysuit with these adorable dolphin shorts from VS Pink and they were a bargain! ($12 I think) Sadly, they sold out of all the adorable colors or at least online they did. As for my socks, I wanted to keep things flowing with text and blue color scheme. Lastly, I wanted to stick with a water sport/athletic beachwear style, with that being said I complemented this outfit with gray canvas Vans. I really wish everyone a lovely summer. Hopefully it has been wonderful and memorable. Till next time!

    Ciao!

Keepin’ it Neutral

The temprature is warming up and the sun is tilting closer towards the Northern Hemisphere. In all honesty, it is warm all year round in southern Florida, especially here in Maimi, but as it gets closer to summer it gets ridiculously hot due to the humidity. With that being said, tank tops, shorts, and sandals are a common ensemble. Now for this look, I combined a neutral combination incorporated with a denim jacket and metallic t-strap sandals. Growing up within an Army lifestyle I always felt like a Gypsy moving around from place to place every two to three years. Because of my upbringing , I felt connected to this graphic tank due to its text saying “Gypsy Soul”. To accessorize this outfit, I wore these sixties inspired sunglasses for amusement and to create a groovy mood. This concludes this lookbook, I hope everyone has a beautiful week filled with positive vibes.

Huckleberry Finn Rebel

Hey there friends! I hope everyone has had a fabulous week so far. This lookbook was inspired by one of my favorite novels Huckleberry Finn written by the incredible Mark Twain. I was always fascinated with Huckleberry Finn’s character, his rebellious, free spirited, and courageous nature has always motivated me to live freely and enjoy life by finding new terrains to wander and explore. I love being outdoors and being involved in mother nature’s adventurous excursions. I shot this lookbook in a public natural reserve here in South Florida that I always enjoy delving into. As for this look, I wore a comfy black crop top coupled with a pair of loose-fit denim cropped Finn-like pants or also known as culottes. I also, accessorized this combination with a tan  wrap-around choker that included rose gold triangular metal tips and a pair of rose gold swarovski crystal studs. To complete this ensemble, I wore these wild leopard print wedges I bought years ago from Steve Madden. This concludes this look, Thank goodness Friday is here, because I am ready for the weekend!

XOXO,

Rebeca

Hello again friends! This week’s lookbook is based on two looks revolving around these adorable jean pants and strappy-nude-heels. I named this lookbook La Nena Sencilla, which means “simple girl” in spanish.  “Nena” is a common used Puerto Rican term for “girl”. With that being said, I wanted to incorporate a part of my Puerto Rican roots into this blog. For those of you who do not know me, I am one-hundred percent Latina, I am Puerto Rican and I am also half Cuban. What a mix right? Anyhow, I picked this title, because I chose to combine two simple looks for all of you. The first look is with a comfy basic halter neck tank top combined with a bluish-gray panama hat. As for the second look, I changed the look into a this comfy striped mustard colored  cotton peasant top that I  also plan on using as a bathing suit cover-up for the beach. This concludes my lookbook, I hope all of you had a splendid weekend full of fun and sunshine. 😉

XOXO,

Rebeca

Spring has finally begun to blossom! With that in mind,  before we go further into spring I wanted to create a gothic grunge-western-rocker look. While developing this look, I  kept a mindset of being rebellious, bold, and self-assured. Black is such an absolute color that is flattering and fits any body type or complexion. For some reason when I wear black, I feel confident and fearless. I love how the color black in fashion is universal trending infinitely in every season and I also love its flattery on the curves of my body. In brief, being dressed in all black is simple and safe, but at the same time it creates an alluring mystery, with a dash of sexy which makes me love it all a bit more. Have a fabulous week my friends and I hope you enjoyed this lookbook with one of my best friends that has paws! 😉

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

I wanted to start the New Year with a cozy, western, fun, and flirty look. I combined this soft black thermal with a white skirt that is decorated with textured florals along the trim. This look was inspired by my hopes of a cold front to pass across the South Floridian region and to show off my beautiful cowgirl boots that my lovely boyfriend got me for Christmas. 💕 Lastly,  I accessorized this look with a bedazzled multi-layered boho necklace. I hope everyone had an amazing start of 2016 and I am very excited to see what is in store for this year to come.

XOXO,

Rebeca

I must say, this is one of my favorite outfits that I have pieced together so far. This combination is an all-in-one of cozy, sexy, and cute. I absolutely love hoodies and when I saw that Forever 21 came out with multiple styles of hoodie dresses, I was compelled to purchase one for myself. First and foremost, I am that type of gal that has to wear shorts under my skirts or dresses. So with that in mind,  I wore a pair of spandex biker shorts underneath. Lastly, I complimented this look with a pair of black over-the-knee-high socks and my sweet Vans. All in all, I think this look is perfect for cool Miami weather (which is between 70-60 degrees). As of right now we are still in the 80 degree temperature marker within the daily highs. I am hoping we will soon start to feel a cold front, because this muggy hot weather is getting old.

Boho Vibing for Fall

Out of all the places I have been stationed to, Texas was the one state that won over my heart and soul allowing it to feel at home. Meanwhile,  I decided to incorporate a piece of Texas in this look. Firstly, for this look I kept it simple with a white over-sized v-neck tee and a pair of distressed burgundy mid-waist shorts. Lastly, I paired this look with my all time favorite black-studded Lucky brand cowgirl boots ( I have had these babies for a couple of years now). You can take the girl out of Texas, but you cannot take the cowgirl out of the girl. All in all, this concludes this boho look for fall and I would love to see all of you recreate this look from your own closet and tag me on instagram. 😉  I hope you guys had an amazing weekend and a smooth start of the week! XOXOXO!

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

So, for this lookbook I did a little collaboration with Loco Bella Boutique. They are a boutique based in an adorable historical town in Rome, Georgia. I actually used to live in Columbus, Georgia. Georgia it is a beautiful state that withholds so much history and woodlands. They say that the Chattahooche River is cursed, if one drinks the water from the River one is bound to Return. Let’s say I have have reinstated in Columbus, Georgia about three times, I suppose the urban legend is true. Anyhow, I highly recommend you blogger’s to check out Loco Bella’s website they have a variety of trendy unique styles. Also, make sure you register for their e-mail list, you will instantly receive a 50 percent discount on your first purchase (50% is pretty awesome if you ask me!). To start with the first outfit, This dress is a comfortable form fit with a little bit of an exposed side boob. In addition to this look, I decided to stay with the comfy theme and wear a pair of studded taupe colored converse shoes and accent this look with a peculiar suede necklace. In the second look, I kept it simple pairing the “Blessed” graphic tee with a pair of acid wash dolphin styled shorts and gladiator sandals. Later, I tied the front half of the tulip-shaped slits of the tee into a knot. To complete this look, I chose to go with an emerald green smokey eye with Loréal’s Endless Sea Infallible compressed shadow, mauve colored blush, and a clear lip with my City Cosmetics clear lip Gloss. This concludes my look, I hope you all enjoy! 🙂
