Venus in a Red Maxi Dress

Boho chic

If you ever decide to make a trip to Miami or if you live in Miami you need to have at least one Maxi dress in your luggage/closet. Maybe its a beach/islander classic in fashion, but every woman in Miami owns at least two or more. I completely understand why, Maxi dresses are sexy and they compliment a woman’s figure with elegance no matter if they are tall, petite, curvy, or thin.  Continue reading

  • BODYSUIT: Forever 21 / SOLD OUT / Alternative
  • SHORTS: VS Pink / SOLD OUT / Alternative
  • SHOES: Vans
  • SUNNIES: Quay
  • SOCKS: VS Pink / ON SALE

Hello blogger friends! I recently came back from my European trip and I look forward to sharing it with all of you on here and on Instagram. So for this look, I wore this hot bodysuit in cobalt blue with the text “NO SHADE” written across the chest. I purchased this during Spring Break in hopes of shooting this look on my trip in Marco Island, but the weather was pretty grim so I had to improvise. I also, paired this bodysuit with these adorable dolphin shorts from VS Pink and they were a bargain! ($12 I think) Sadly, they sold out of all the adorable colors or at least online they did. As for my socks, I wanted to keep things flowing with text and blue color scheme. Lastly, I wanted to stick with a water sport/athletic beachwear style, with that being said I complemented this outfit with gray canvas Vans. I really wish everyone a lovely summer. Hopefully it has been wonderful and memorable. Till next time!

    Ciao!

  • Jumpsuit: Free People/ SOLD OUT of green color
  • Necklace: Forever 21/ SOLD OUT / Alternative 1 / Alternative 2
  • Location: Marco Island, Florida (South Beach Marco)

It never fails, whenever I take photos I always forget to get rid of/hide my hair tie. It is apart of me, wearing a hair tie around my  wrist is a necessity. My hair tie is a permanent accessory. Haha! Anyhow, Today’s lookbook is on this gorgeous green jumpsuit/romper that I bought from Free People for my cousin’s quince.( Green is also my favorite color by the way.) What I love about this outfit is that it can be dressed down or up. I decided to walk barefoot on the beach for this look, but if I were to wear a pair of shoes it would be a pair of black or gold fancy sandals, or a pair of nude- lace-up-open-toe heals. This concludes my lookbook, I wish all of you many blessings and a safe summer. Please pray for the world, because it is going through some drastic tragedies and we need to pray and make a difference for our planet to become a better and peaceful place. We need to work together, I know it is hard because some people just do not get along, but we need to try and look for the best in others. Ciao my friends!

XOXO,

I hope everyone is having a fabulous and save Fourth of July weekend. I wanted to create an affordable patriotic look for you guys. I came by Victoria Secret Pink and they are having and awesome deal, $15 for their Fourth of July graphic tees. As for Vans, I bought these patriotic Vans for $9. They were having a buy one get one for %50 off  sale at Dolphin mall. I am not sure if the sale is still going on, but I am sure they have a better promotion for the fourth. I also noticed that Converse had their patriotic shoes for $24.99, for those converse lovers (Guilty!). This concludes my look, go to Dolphin Mall for great deals/promotions if you live in Miami/ visiting and Happy Fourth Everybody! Ciao!

XOXO,

Rebeca

Lemon Zest

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Lately I have been having technical issues with editing my photos, but on a brighter note all is resolved. I was recently on vacation at Marco Island. Oh my goodness, how I love Marco! This is my second year there for vacation, it is so peaceful and relaxing. Marco is the best place as a get-away from the fast pace city life (especially from the craziness in Miami). Now, for this look, I am wearing a lemon print bodysuit that I fell in love with from Forever 21. I do not know if it is the simplicity of creating an outfit combination with bodysuits, but I have been on a bodysuit craze. To compliment this look, I wore a pair of faded-destroyed-blue jean-high-waisted-shorts and classic gray high-top Vans. To conclude this look, I accessorized it with an embellished tattoo choker. All in all, this look is so much fun and perfect for summer time. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer and indulging in some of that vitamin D. If you visit Marco, make sure you swing by Doreen’s Cup of Joe it is this adorable breakfast place that is delicious! I love their waffles. Ciao friends!

XOXO,

Rebeca

This weeks lookbook is a free-spirited look showing off the midriff area. I love this look for its simplicity and comfort. I am normally pretty conservative about showing off the midsection of my body, but what the heck! Your only young once, right? I also fell in love with these seamless boot-cut jeans with slits on the inner side of the ankle. Let me tell you, these pants are awesome! They are made from great quality denim material and hug your body perfectly. Combined with these rad jeans, I wore a baby blue mineral washed crop tank top. To complete this look, I decided to accent it with rose gold and silver  jewelry and a pair of funky metallic sandals that were in my latest post. Lately, I have been incorporating rose gold in my outfit combinations for the fact that it has been a common fad for this summer season. I have also been taking total advantage of wearing rose gold for the fact that it warms up my skin tone creating an ethereal glow. This concludes this look, I hope all of you had a beautiful Mother’s Day full of love and happiness. look out for next week!

XOXO,

Keepin’ it Neutral

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

The temprature is warming up and the sun is tilting closer towards the Northern Hemisphere. In all honesty, it is warm all year round in southern Florida, especially here in Maimi, but as it gets closer to summer it gets ridiculously hot due to the humidity. With that being said, tank tops, shorts, and sandals are a common ensemble. Now for this look, I combined a neutral combination incorporated with a denim jacket and metallic t-strap sandals. Growing up within an Army lifestyle I always felt like a Gypsy moving around from place to place every two to three years. Because of my upbringing , I felt connected to this graphic tank due to its text saying “Gypsy Soul”. To accessorize this outfit, I wore these sixties inspired sunglasses for amusement and to create a groovy mood. This concludes this lookbook, I hope everyone has a beautiful week filled with positive vibes.

XOXO,

Rebeca
