Festival Vibes

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

Festival week has begun! With that in mind, I put together a simple outfit that will not take up any space in your luggage. What better outfit than a romper/playsuit? It takes up little space in your bag full of stylish attire and all you need to do is accessorize it with adorable boho accessories. In addition, I recommend pairing this look  with comfortable boots/sandals that you can walk around in all day. I fell in love with this green playsuit that is from my new favorite store based in Australia named Peppermayo. I love the quality of their clothing and I have not  had to return a single item that I have purchased from their website. Also, their clothing fits true to size. All in all, whether you are going to Desert Hearts, Coachella, or Stagecoach, a playsuit/romper is the way to go, because it is an outfit with minimal effort, it is comfortable to dance around in while your jamming out to your favorite musicians, and lastly it takes up little space in your luggage. (Which is an important factor in my book.) Well that concludes this look my festival friends! I hope all of you have a safe and wondrous time during festival week. I would also like to wish all of you to have fun filled memories full of happy and unforgettable bonding moments with your friends/loved ones.

XOXO,

Rebeca

Spring has finally begun to blossom! With that in mind,  before we go further into spring I wanted to create a gothic grunge-western-rocker look. While developing this look, I  kept a mindset of being rebellious, bold, and self-assured. Black is such an absolute color that is flattering and fits any body type or complexion. For some reason when I wear black, I feel confident and fearless. I love how the color black in fashion is universal trending infinitely in every season and I also love its flattery on the curves of my body. In brief, being dressed in all black is simple and safe, but at the same time it creates an alluring mystery, with a dash of sexy which makes me love it all a bit more. Have a fabulous week my friends and I hope you enjoyed this lookbook with one of my best friends that has paws! 😉

XOXO,

Rebeca

Spring is just around the corner! According to the Spring Equinox, it will officially be Spring Sunday of March 20th! How exciting is that? Spring is one of my most favorite seasons of the year, with inclusion of Summer.  So with Spring coming along, I decided to create a simple ethereal boho look. To acquire an ethereal afterglow, I chose this white boho maxi dress/top to add radiance by contrasting this ensemble with golden accessories and gladiator shoes. To complete this combination, I wore a pair of destroyed-light blue-cuffed shorts underneath the white maxi dress/top. Also with this look in its entirety,  I  believe I achieved a goddess-like glam for this combination, because the entire time I was prancing around in this outfit feeling as if I were Persephone the God of Spring herself. All in all, this completes my look and be sure to keep up with my posts this week because I plan on posting some of my Spring Break looks throughout the week. Have a beautiful week lovelies!

I know I have not been active with my blog posts lately, I have had a very busy  schedule with school. With that being said, as an Art student your time and life is consumed with projects and more, but I love what I do, so I don’t mind it much. I plan on sharing some of my projects here, especially this recent project I am working on. I will be documenting its process as I work on it. I look forward to sharing its stages of dissipation with you all of you. Anyhow, I mentioned in my last blog post that I would create a lookbook of my Birthday attire. With that in mind,  I finally created this lookbook. It’s about time right? 😉 Now, for my birthday I wore a  grey crop top & pant set coupling this stunning outfit with a pair of rhinestone-sparkly-glam-strappy-sandals. Lastly, I also accessorized this look with a pair of Henri Bendel Lock earrings I bought last year. All in All, this concludes my look. May you all have a radiant and blessed week!

XOXO,

Rebeca

Happy Valentine’s Day Weekend Everybody! I am so excited about this Valentine’s day post, because I did a collaboration with my friend Alfie. We had so much fun shooting this lookbook together, I couldn’t stop laughing and I constantly had the giggles. Apart from Alfie’s keen eye for fashion, he is incredibly talented artistically and has this quirkiness about him with a kind, genuine heart. Now for this look book, Alfie wore a thrifted vintage plaid shirt with a pair of Forever 21 white washed jeans. He complimented this look with  a pair of white and gray hightop Aldo sneakers (which I love btw!). To accessorize this look he wore a set of H&M bracelets, a cuff from Thailand and a gorgeous Ganesh ring.  As for my look, I wore a white crop top with a laced trim coupled with this adorable blush colored button down  A-line skirt that my best friend got for me for Christmas. She is amazing, I love her and adore her to the moon and back! To compliment my look, I wore a burgundy Faux Leather Jacket  and a pair of these beautiful Vince Camuto boots that I got for a bargain at Macy’s. Lastly, to accessorize this look I wore a “Love” necklace in celebration of St. Valentine. 😉 This concludes this Valentine lookbook, have a wonderful and beautiful weekend guys!

XOXO,

Alfie & Rebeca

February, February, February… The month of love, romance, and friendships!  Also, my birthday month! Unfortunately it passed already, it was on Ground Hog’s Day and it was definitely one of the best birthday’s I have had in awhile. I thought about sharing some picture’s here on my blog, but that would consist of exposing other’s rights of privacy, so with that being said I decided to not to do so. I did share a couple of photos on Instagram, if you would like to check them out you are welcome to do so. I plan on posting a lookbook of my birthday outfit soon, so be on the lookout for that. Anyhow, other than my birthday, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! With that in mind, I decided to create a sexy, seductive, edgy, and “be mine” kind of look for all of you. For this look, I paired a sexy black lace bodysuit paired with a bralette underneath, coupling it with a pair of vibrant red shorts with a scallop trim. I also, accessorized this look with a silver choker that has a beautiful detailed design.  To complete this look, I wore these edgy leather lace up platforms, I bought from Aldo a year or two ago. These shoes scream “be mine” ! This concludes my Valentine’s Day outfit, I hope all of you have a beautiful Valentine’s day filled with love and romance. Also, for those who do not have a significant other to spend it with, remember Valentine’s Day is not just for couples it is for sharing your love and admiration with your friends and family. 😉 Till next time lovelies !

So, for those who follow me on Instagram you all know I love cats. You may also know that I cherish and treasure my two kitties to the end of this world! In Addition, I also have a fondness for dragonflies and most of all I appreciate their representation/symbolism. In various cultures dragonflies symbolize change, power, rebirth, and freedom. (For more in depth info on dragonfly symbolism click: Website 1 / Website 2) Similarly, this dress has a rhythmic pattern and like qualities of a dragonfly.  Further more, I coupled a pair of calf haired boots by Donald J. Pliner. These are my first pair by him, he makes incredible boots that are worth every penny! I initially thought I was going to regret my purchase and on the contrary, I am so glad I took a chance. It was well worth my money. Lastly, to complete this look, I paired these beautiful dangling boho earrings by Lucky Brand with a turquoise peace sign bracelet I made, to compliment the bracelet,  I also wore a ring with turquoise and other semi-precious stones. Well that’s, that! I hope all of you had a splendid weekend full of fabulous memories. Let’s get this Monday started ladies and gents!

Keepin’ it Cozy in Nature’s Brisk

I am  thrilled to announce that it is finally sweater weather in the city of Miami! Who knows how long this cold front will last, but I have been pretty excited to wear a couple of my winter clothes that I have gathered throughout the years. If you have not noticed, I am not very fond of frigid cold weather or winter of the matter. In all honesty,  I am more of a spring/summer gal, majority of my wardrobe caters to a warmer tropical climate. With that being said, My winter collection is pretty limited (except for boots, I love my boots!). During the winter season I am quite particular about my clothing, but when I see a garment I like on display I buy it A.S.A.P.! You have to stock up for those occasional cooler days here in Miami! ;)Anyway, here in this look is a cozy cream-colored oversized sweater combined with a pair of gray mineral wash leggings that I paired with these sweet black leather Converse. To complete this look, I accented it with this leather boho necklace with a crescent moon charm. This completes my outfit, stay warm my friends!

Rebeca

Flirty in A Mini Skirt & Cowgirl Boots

Photographer: 3R

|OUTFIT DETAILS|

I wanted to start the New Year with a cozy, western, fun, and flirty look. I combined this soft black thermal with a white skirt that is decorated with textured florals along the trim. This look was inspired by my hopes of a cold front to pass across the South Floridian region and to show off my beautiful cowgirl boots that my lovely boyfriend got me for Christmas. 💕 Lastly,  I accessorized this look with a bedazzled multi-layered boho necklace. I hope everyone had an amazing start of 2016 and I am very excited to see what is in store for this year to come.

Casual Caturday’s #6

   |OUTFIT DETAILS|

Yesterday I was having technical difficulties with my internet service, with that being said I apologize for the late Caturday post. Better late than never, I always say. If  You haven’t noticed, all of my looks are photographed and encompassed with the reference of nature. I love all of mother nature’s existence and  I always have fun dancing and prancing around in her beauty. Firstly for this look, I originally wore a pair of sexy black leather lace-up pumps, but walking around in the grass in five inch heels is not the best of ideas. For that reason, I decided to get my feet a little dirty and go barefoot for this look. Lastly, the main element of this look is this gorgeous scuba knit leopard print dress. You know me and my leopard print obsession. 😉 This concludes my look, I found a couple of links above that resemble this look. Please check them out and I look forward to next Caturday! Till next time…

XOXO,

Rebeca
